I finally watched the finale of Star Wars rebels. While a lot has happened since I started watching it in 2014, both in Star Wars and to me personally, it was always the one thing I could look forward to watching to escape to, and to inspire me to continue working on my own literature. I am going to miss this series. Thank you Disney, and thank you Dave Filoni for making this show possible. I can’t wait to see what projects lie ahead.

I went to the funeral today for Dell Hausbeck. She was the wife of a Navy Sailor, who helped mentor me so I could adjust myself into the navy as smoothly as possible. They supported me, both of them. Tonight, I supported them and I told Dell good bye for the last time. She liked peanut butter in her pancakes. At first I thought it was weird, but I’ll give it a try. At the funeral, Paul talked about how his wife saved his life. He had been a full blown alcoholic. For many years until Dell intervened. She made it her mission to save Paul from himself. When he heard she was in the hospital, his biggest fear was that she would die alone.
